Having spent over 30 years at 30,000 feet with other people’s lives in her hands, Captain Karen Kahn certainly has mastered the art of confidence, determination, and professionalism. Today, as a speaker, author, career counselor and one of the few pioneering female pilots first employed by a major U.S. airline company (Continental Airlines) during the 1970’s, Captain Kahn inspires others how to harness their own inner captain and soar through life with confidence.
Captain Kahn's experience, intelligence and wit continue to inspire and motivate both national and international audiences via speaking opportunities and as an author/publisher. As a successful woman and role model, she demonstrates that honesty, integrity and humility are critical not only in an airline career, but across all professions and personal lives.
Karen has recently retired from commercial flying allowing her more flexible time to work with people and fly her plane.
